The city will proudly host the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra as they present Spring Pops “Race For Space” Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 6 p.m., in charming Central Park in downtown Winter Park.
Park Avenue closed for St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The 39th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will make its way down Park Avenue Sunday, March 5, beginning at 2 p.m. Park Avenue will be closed to traffic from Webster to Comstock avenues from noon until 4 p.m.

The General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14. Voters will be asked to vote on City Commission Seat 1 and a proposed charter amendment.
Keep Fido on a leash
Dogs must be leashed at all times, unless you are visiting the off-leash area at Lake Baldwin Park or have approval for events where dogs are engaging in competitions, training, or performances which require dogs to be off leash.

The city of Winter Park has recently received numerous calls regarding questionable tree service companies that are soliciting work from unsuspecting residents based upon false information.

The last day to skate at the city’s “Winter in the Park” ice skating rink is Sunday, Jan. 9. If you haven’t already taken a spin on the ice, there’s less than two weeks left.
Russell Athletic Bowl Parade of Bands
The city of Winter Park will proudly host the 10th annual Russell Athletic Bowl Parade of Bands, featuring school bands from West Virginia University and University of Miami, Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m.
Library, events center & parking garage update
On Dec. 7, Orange County Judge Margaret Schreiber issued a Final Judgement that confirms the city’s position that the library/civic center project has already gone to vote and the matter has been decided by the voters to build the project at MLK Park.
