Mead Botanical Garden will be buzzing with dozens of volunteers from Full Sail University and Summit Church on Saturday, June 23. Projects will include landscaping and invasive removal around the community garden and invasive species removal around the west side of the wetland restoration site. This is the inaugural work to establish a walking trail around the wetland.

Come celebrate the city of Altamonte Springs’ 17th annual Independence Day for Red Hot & Boom. The event will be from 4-11 p.m. at Cranes Roost Park on Tuesday, July 3.
