Understanding the community’s major religious groups series

The Interfaith Council of Central Florida and the Holocaust Memorial Resource will be holding an adult education series on understanding the community’s major religious groups. Islam will be covered Thursday Oct. 11; Judaism Thursday, Nov. 8; Christianity Tuesday, Dec. 4; Sikhism Tuesday, Jan. 15; Hinduism Tuesday, Feb. 12; Baha’I Tuesday, March 12; Unitarian Universalism Tuesday, Apr. 9. The final session on Tuesday, May 7, will consist of a panel of all of the presenters. Reservations are recommended, but the event is free of charge. The series will be held at the Holocaust Center at 851 N. Maitland Ave. from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A half hour of each discussion will be allotted to audience questions.
